Production Description:
DFW-12 series cable branch box is an outdoor high-voltage electrical equipment applicable to 12kV rated voltage and 630A rated current, suitable for connection and distribution of cables. High-performance sulfur hexafluoride load switch with SF6 insulating gas and touchable shielded silicone rubber cable joint are adopted, by which strong active load capacity, no-load cable current breaking ability and short-circuit current closing ability are assured. Lightning arrester and earth fault indicator can be equipped with the product according to user requirements.
Load switches or vacuum circuit breakers are installed on each ring network circuit in this series. Any branch loop is free to exit and put into operation, without affecting other loop networks. The branch circuit will quickly become disconnected because of the fuse on the branch circuit. Then the tripper of the load switch will be hit by fuse, and finally, fault circuit is isolated, thus ensuring the continuity of power supply in the non-fault branch circuit.
This series is widely used in the cable distribution in the 10kV power system. While the connection way is simple, the flexible and convenient products are safe and reliable. Because the 2 mm stainless steel plates are adopted, firm and durable characteristics are assured. The live part is fully insulated and sealed. If the flood-protection touchable cable head is adopted, the reliability of the power supply will greatly be improved.
Application:
DFW-12 series high-voltage cable branch box (hereafter referred to as cable branch box) is a new type of product which is designed to improve the cable service for those using 10kV power grid. This series is mainly applied to cable branches in cable system. Because of its simple, convenient, flexible connection & combination features, the ring network switch cabinet can be replaced by the cable branch box. This series of products are mainly applied to city street, industry and mining enterprises, residential areas, high-rise buildings, airports, docks, and other places.
Application condition:
1. Maximum ambient temperature: +40℃, minimum temperature: -15℃, daily average: ≤35℃；
2. Ambient humidity: daily average relative humidity ≤95%; monthly average relative humidity ≤90%; daily mean vapor pressure ≤2.2×10-3 Mpa；Monthly mean vapor pressure: ≤1.8×10-3 Mpa
3. The elevation of the installation site shall not exceed 1000m;
4. Earthquake less than magnitude 8;
5. The installation site must be free from water, flammable and explosive hazards, chemical corrosive gas and violent vibration.
