CPS (control and protective switching device) conforms to the following standards: IEC60947-6-2: (2002) (Low-voltage Switch Device and Controlling Device, Section 6, Part 2 Control and Protective Switching Device); GB 14048.9-1998 (Low-voltage Switch Device and Controlling Device multifunctional Electrical Equipment: Control and Protective Switching Device)(The second standard is equal to IEC60947-6-2)

It is the Integration of circuit breaker、contactor、overload protector、 relay、starter、isolator which gets rid of the short coming of inharmony caused by using different discrete devices and the performance of the switch is greatly improved because of the harmonized. Integration of protective features and control features.

Functions:

First of all, It integrates the functions of all the discrete devices. Both long distance remote control and manual control on the spot are available. The functions of panel instructions, electromechanical signal alarming, voltage overload protection, open-phase & lacking phase protection are available. It features coordinated time-current protection (anti-time protection, defined time protection, instantaneous three phases protection). Control and protection for all kinds of motor load, distribution load can be achieved by using different functional modules and accessories.

DS basic type switch is the primary type of switch which can be equipped with the different accessories to form different types of switches (as shown below)

1. DS(F): DS CPS fire protection type (F stands for Chinese phonetic alphabet: xiaofang, similarly hereinafter)

2. DS(G): DS CPS isolating type (Geli)

3. DS(L): DS CPS leakage protection type (Loudian)

4. DSD: DS CPS double speed motor (Dianji)

5. DSD3: DS CPS three speed motor (Dianji3)

6. DSN: DS CPS reversible motor (Ni)

7. Voltage reducing switch

(1) DSJ1, DSJ2: star-triangle start (Jiao)

(2) DSZ: DSZ auto transforming type start (Ziyu)

(3) DSR: DS resistance type (Resistance)

Range of Application 

It’s suitable for 690V/50(60) Hz alternative current (AC) voltage, rated current (0.4A-125A). It’s able to connect, carry, cutout overloaded current (in a certain level of overloaded). it is able to connect, carry, cutout current under short-circuit condition. Parameter can be reset in idling /no load condition. This series of products are mainly applied to areas such as construction, communication equipment, textile, metallurgy, petrochemical, water conservancy engineering, water treatment, mechanical equipment, ships, food processing and motor control center, and other places.

Application condition

1, Maximum ambient temperature: +40℃, minimum temperature: -5℃, daily average: ≤35℃.

2, The elevation of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m.

3, Atmospheric conditions: the air is clean. When the temperature reaches the highest point +40℃, the relative humidity shall not exceed 50%. At lower temperatures, higher relative humidity is allowed. (For example, the relative humidity at +25℃ is 90%). But it should be considered that due to the change in temperature, there may be occasional moderate condensation.
